The We Are Here podcast is intended to be a bullhorn for radical thought. I hope to interview someone on each podcast who has a perspective that might not get mainstream coverage. That means I’ll talk to anarchists, Communists, Socialists and radicals of all stripes. We’re going to talk about the basic structure of our society, about our government, about where money is being spent and where it is not. We’re going to talk about ideas to make the world a better place for us and for our children — ideas that are woefully neglected in everyday discourse but are nonetheless essential for a rounded discussion and for every reasonable person to know before making a truly informed decision. That’s the goal.
Who am I?
Good question. I’m Keith Brown. I’ve been a working journalist for about 20 years, in newsrooms from California to New Jersey. Although I’ve conducted hundreds of interviews over my career, those I do for the We Are Here podcast are my first recorded interviews and my first try at “radio” or “radio-like” broadcasting. There are bound to be some bumps along the way. I hope you’ll bear with me as this experiment unfolds.
